Cemetery Trustees

The cemetery trustees met at the Historical Society at 9AM.
Leavitt: Gravel has been added to the beginning of the driveway at Leavitt Cemetery where the tar ends. This will fix the uneven meeting of tar and dirt. The Trustees want to acknowledge and thank the Highway Department for the driveway improvement.
Meeting: Cemetery Trustees attended the Cemeteries Trustee State Meeting on June 7 in Concord.
Smith-Sanborn Cemetery: The Trustees inspected the Smith-Sanborn Cemetery on June 7th. Permission was granted by abutter, Harry Guay, to cross private property to reach this cemetery located off Swigey Brook Road. The walled-in cemetery is overgrown with brush and small trees. Cleanup will be extensive.
Payment: An invoice (937) submitted by Steve’s Quality Service was approved for payment.
